Collection: Number & Letter Stencils

Number and letter stencils make it easy to get clean, consistent text on almost any surface. We carry a range of sizes and fonts so you can match the look you're going for, whether that's a house number above a door, a name above a crib, or a quote on a living room wall.

All of our stencils are made from thick mylar plastic, which means they hold their shape and lay flat against the surface. That keeps the paint from bleeding under the edges, which is the biggest problem with cheaper stencils. Once you're done, just rinse them off and let them dry. You'll get dozens of uses out of each one.

If you're painting a long word or a multi-digit number, a tip that works well: tape each letter or digit in place one at a time rather than trying to align them all at once. It takes a bit longer but the result is much cleaner. For outdoor surfaces like wood or concrete, use exterior paint and let each letter dry fully before moving to the next.
